Designmuseum Denmark
The following identity was created for the Designmuseum Denmark in Copenhagen, DK. I completed this project while studying abroad there during my studio course.
The museum was a challenge to design for since it covers such a wide variety of design from fashion, art, graphic design and furniture, from many different eras. The identity needed to be simple enough so that the designs could b in the forefront, but not be too boring and let the museum be forgotten.
I faced a couple of challenges during the project. The first was that the way the museum was laid out was difficult to navigate and a new way-finding system was needed. The second was color, which I ended up solving with a bright color a palate that completely differed from a lot of the popular danish design, which is typically black.
